Valentines Day Sheep Heart Dissection

Valentine's Day can be more than just crafting paper hearts and baking cookies; it can be a fascinating exploration of the human heart itself! After a hiatus, we're excited to bring back our heart dissection class for kids and teens this February. While we primarily welcome ages 12 and up, younger kids will be considered.

Here are the details:

• Date and Time: February 11, 2024, Sunday at 10:00 am
• Location: Trucks Unique, 4914 Pan American Fwy NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109
• Cost: AAGTS is subsidizing the event, and each student pays only $16.00
• RSVP: Email info@AAGTS.org with the participant's name, age, and contact phone number to secure a spot.

Dr. Andrea DeMeter will lead the dissection, turning each participant into a valuable member of the medical team. Full protective gear, including masks, aprons, and gloves, will be provided. Participants are expected to adhere to medical team standards, and non-compliance may result in forfeiture of participation.

Parents or guardians are welcome to assist without purchasing a ticket. If adults want to dissect a sheep heart and assist, there's an opportunity for a small fee; specify this in your email.

Event Logistics:

• No eating indoors; however, we have access to bathrooms and a sink.
• A link for payment will be available at a later date.

• A family membership is $25 annually.
• The Valentines Day Celebration Sheep Heart Dissection is a members-only event.
