Exciting Events Planned for the Rest of 2024!

Get ready for a fun-filled and informative rest of the year! Our board committee is busy planning a variety of events for all ages and interests. While the exact dates are still being finalized, we wanted to give you a sneak peek to save the date! Here's a taste of what's to come:

Family Fun:

• Day at the Pool: Beat the summer heat with a refreshing dip at the pool! We'll have games, activities, and fun for the whole family.

• Slice and Dice Meets (Eastside & Westside): Looking for a chance to mingle with neighbors? Join us for our casual "Slice and Dice" meetups, happening on both the east and west sides of town. Dates and locations to be confirmed soon!

• Day at the Park: Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the sunshine at a local park! We'll have details on the chosen park and planned activities coming soon.

• Planetarium Adventure: Journey through the cosmos at a local planetarium. This event is perfect for families with curious minds!

• Halloween Spooktacular: Get ready for some ghoulish fun at our annual Halloween Event! We'll have costumes, treats, and spooky surprises for all ages.

Educational Opportunities:

• IEP for Parents Event: This informative session will equip parents with the knowledge to navigate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for their children.

• U-Pick Event: Enjoy a day outdoors while picking your own fresh produce at a local farm. This is a great way to support local agriculture and have some family fun!

• APS School Choice Fair Participation: We'll be hosting a booth at the APS School Choice Fair, providing information about our organization and its involvement in education.

• PSAT/SAT Prep Class: Stressed about standardized tests? We'll be offering a PSAT/SAT prep class to help students feel confident and prepared.

Celebrating Diversity:

• Indigenous People's Day Event - Petroglyphs: Join us as we learn about the history and culture of indigenous people through a visit to a petroglyph site.

Holiday Cheer:

• Winter Solstice/Holiday Event: Celebrate the winter solstice and the holiday season with festive activities and a warm community gathering.
